My daughter and I have been gaming off and on with Schleich sized vinyl figures. Christmas brought our armies new recruits. link |

That´s great! I too game with my daughter, and we have a blast. She is 8, so I hope I have a few more years before boys stop being icky. |

"Soon she will be a teenager" Oh yes one of my favourite memories is of my then 14 year old daughter saying to me "I'm not going out with you dressed like that". I laughed till I nearly cried. I was wearing shorts, baggy shorts, boots and a T shirt. Too outre for the young rebel though. |

Yeah they are very conservative in their own way. |

After the divorce my entire house became "Man Cave Deluxe". When my daughter was due to visit from Houston I would go berserk and deal with the more obvious excesses. One time I had to work and failed to deal with the disaster area. On the way down from the airport I told her that things were more than a little outré. She cleaned house for the next two days and all she ever says about it is "Dad, there were bullets on the stove." |

Yep, soon she'll be in that annoying stage. She's into comics, science fiction and fantasy, so hopefully we'll still be able connect on geeky things. |

"Soon she will be a teenager." That didn't seem to stop either of my children from playing and enjoying games. |
