I know Knuckleduster Miniatures make US Army Regulars but does anyone manufacture Choctaws, Red Sticks or other Southern Indian tribes for the War of 1812 and Red Stick War? I'm really interested in gaming not only the New Orleans campaign but the Battle of Horseshoe Bend as well. This battle is near and dear to me as future US President Andrew Jackson and future Texas President and Tennessee and Texas Governor Sam Houston were present at Horseshoe Bend. Pres. Houston was seriously wounded at Horseshoe Bend when he led the initial assault on the Red Stick palisade this may have prevented his presence at New Orleans as he was a close confidant and adviser of Gen. Jackson. Back to my initial question are any southern US tribes available? Thanks and salut y'all!

I don't know of anyone making 28mm southern Indians specifically for 1812 at this time. The usual kludge is to use Seminoles. Both Old Glory and Conquest have 28mm Seminoles in production. Some of the Foundry ACW Indian Territory figures might also be usable, for the more Americanized factions.

Conquest Miniatures make several groups of Seminoles and some chiefs.

I intend on using the Conquest Seminoles. Just for comparison, check out the W Britains Choctaws from the Americana series – very colorful but 54mm.

Conquest Seminoles will work fine for the Creeks in the Red Stick War, and they are some of the best castings on the market.
