Decided to dust off my 28mm collections and play some Black Powder Napoleonics. Here's the link: stevesfieldworks.blogspot.com

Dunno about your Napoleonics but I can only dream about visiting an airshow like you showed here.

A B24 was intended to be a seaplane? Fascinated.

Bet your dad was proud….he looks happy! My three lads will walk the field of Waterloo with me, but only if I am buying the beer in that marvellous Belgian bar at the ridge. They would not know a B29 from a P40C or a PBY from a P51D, the Cadillac of the Skies, as I recall.

Great looking game! I particularly liked the picture of the square with the artillery waiting patiently nearby for any over-eager cavalry. grin

Black Powder is a great set of rules and they are very easy to pick up. At the same time they offer up a nice feel for the period(s) they cover while being wonderfully versatile.

I'm very fortunate as the Commemorative Air Force museum and FBO center is about 7 minutes from my home in DFW. I want to be a docent when I retire from teaching history in a couple of years!

That arty got gobsmacked by the mighty 2nd Westphalian Hussars via a sweeping advance after disposing of shaken Russian Dragoons. I want to see if I can duplicate this. Looking at the rules, I'm thinking they're so dice loaded this will not happen twice. Thanks!
