Probably a lot of WWI and WWII naval gamers are aware of 1/2400 quality warships made by GHQ. This venerable four decade old company knows its stuff and how to provide superior service too.

Here are five built for a RAN Squadron for a 1938 what if world in the South Pacific.

We'll start with Naval Thunder rules and see if our local group takes to them. A pard highly recommends same. They look good.

After viewing the ships, why not read the story beside them? You might enjoy the singular diversion this offers just for us --- wargamers. Try it. You might like it. It's different.

The GHQ ships look interesting, but the images are tiny, with no links to larger versions. I even told NoScript to allow all the javascript on your site.

Hi Bill,

If you are interested in 1/2400 WW2 Naval have a look at our Batreps we have played over the last 3 years. We trialed Microauts, Naval Thunder and General Quaters 3. They all had ideas/mechanics we liked making the final decision dificult.

They look great but a bit more grey and a bit less blue for arctic waters I suspect.

Which rules have you firmed up on?

Over all we have settled on General Quarters 3 as its rules for airpower and subs and even shore guns were the made the diference.

Naval Thunder has a number of good scenaroi set ups and good lists for the various fleets etc

Plan A: Naval Thunder.
Individual ship charts are a real advantage.

Plan B: GQ III.

My Australians will operate in the 1938-1941 tropical S. Pacific with blue water. 1930s images show every ship in very light grey. I went between light and dark grey because of our 1938ish time frame.

Thank you very much Sirs,
I appreciate your remarks very much.
