Does anyone have advice or tips on how to reliably apply dry transfers. I'm finding it difficult to keep them aligned correctly to get the right placement. |

On Archer's website there are some how to videos. I'm assuming you are using Archer Dry Transfers. I think the trick he uses is to tape the piece in place once you have it aligned and then apply it. I am not handy enough to pull it off but he does show how for someone who is less of a clutz than I am. |

I transfer them to waterslide clear decal paper using tape to keep it in place and aligned, then I just apply it like a normal decal, using a decal setting solution. Apply it to a glossy surface (cuts down on silvering") and then seal with Dull Coat (or the matte of your choice, assuming you want a matte finish of course.) |

Thanks. They are a bit tricky. Thought it was just me. |

They are fiddly but if you get them down right they make marking so much easier than waterslide decals. I wish I could reliably line up numbers, my AFV modelling would be so easy. I use them for crosses, stars, and unit markings. |
