Received an order from Timecast on Dec. 26th. Order placed on Dec. 20th. I would call that pretty darn fast for this time of year from the UK to Oklahoma City, OK, USA. I ordered the Landmark buildings since Timecast was running a 50% off special on these. I also ordered some of the Vietnam shantytowns shacks, the mortar pit, the Vietnam barricades, one of the Vietam barracks buildings, and the two Boer War blockhouses. Shipping was pretty high, but was more than compensated for by the discount on the Landmark buildings. As has been discussed onother TMP threads these buildings are on the small side for 15mm, but they are VERY nice and do come painted. I plan to add some height with bases that match the building footprint. The only real problem I had with this part of the order was that some of the wall sections from the High Wall set were broken inside their packaging. I think I can glue these back together, so no big deal really. The other items were beautiful and very reasonably priced compared to some of the other Vietnam lines available. One example is the pack of firebase barricades. This pack has 8 pieces and is 24" in total length for about $10. USD I think this is a great value for 2' worth of barricades. I plan to buy some more of their Vietnam line (as well as some of their other buildings like the Falklands line), but I will probably check with Battlefield Terrain Concepts here in the US to see about ordering through them to avoid the high shipping. |

That's not so much fast as miraculous…. Great products too – love the Landmark stuff, while the "Vietnam" shanty pieces are the most versatile buildings I own – great models that regularly see service in 'Nam, Burma, Africa, and a variety of distant planets…. ;-) |

Dom, I know what you mean about the versatility of these buildings. I plan to use everything from this order for my Twilight 2000 project, including the Boer War blockhouses! |
