A lasting memorial page, with the names of sadly departed friends, as a new permanent part of TMP.

Over the years it would fill up, I know, but it would give us something to look at each year and drink a drop in their memory.

Excellent idea!

There is a corner of a foreign field that is forever…..

I have no liking for memorial pages. They only encourage trolls. And, anyway, who is to say that everyone should have liked everyone who is now dead – I don't. They might have stolen figures, disregarded copyright, cheated at war gaming, or been complete turkey throttlers….

If you saying that we should just have a list. A simple list, like memorials to other fallen (though I think that rather trite), if you want, is fine (though I don't want to be on it, ever).

Maddaz, come on. Living is for war gamers to look forward to victories, not for war gamers to look backward to the losses.

I, kind of, understand where you are coming from. I have seen losses in the ranks, we all know of someone we liked to game with who is no longer with us, but I think it should be a private thing, surely, for those who actually knew them – for them to contemplate when a memory is jogged, perhaps on a dice roll.

They erect monuments to the dead of any human conflict, why not a memorial to people that commemorate those conflicts.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

A simple list is a great idea, I am not asking for anything more, and no space for trolling.
