Just wanted to Preview 70% done GAZ-3937 Vodnik en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GAZ_Vodnik model that I started modelling before AMX Leclerc. Some parts were exaggerated due to scale requirements. Gonna finish both models really soon.
The car is built on a modular scheme. Welded body includes two removable modules. Front module consists of a power department and management, divided sealed bulkhead. The rear multi-module due to the quick release coupling can be replaced in the field. In other words, a single chassis can perform several functions, depending on the installed modules: * transportation of people; * freight handling and processing equipment in remote areas; * transportation of residential units and other utilities modules; * perform the functions of technological machines fuel and energy complex (tankers, containers, etc.). So I am gonna make rear section removable and model several variants of rear module. |

Added a bit of details just before New Year. I also made rear module separable, so different variants are possible.

I almost finished Vodnik and I only need to add details to the front and rear areas of a car. The vehicle you can see on a picture above is a troop carrying module variant. It have two holes near the roof hatches to mount 2 machine guns. I also plan to make other version of rear modules like turreted and ambulance. The main problem I found with modelling this vehicle, is when you try to use Google Images to find photos and blueprints you will find that there are several modifications of a car with difference in hatches shape and position. So I decided to model the most common variant. |
