Good day all, I presume some of you may be interested in our new blog. The first product we will be releasing is a starship gaming rule set titled Metaverse. As the first post of this blog we are giving a sneak peek at Metaverse with a few shiny pictures to sooth your eyes. link |

Hey everyone, if anyone is interested I have made a post detailing the turn sequence of Metaverse. The next post I will write will go into detail on how starship movement is plotted and performed. Have a great day everyone. link |

I missed the previous posts; I'm sure Sean was wondering when I'd be poking my nose in… ;->= Love the eye candy, but you knew that. I'm very interested in your business model. Okay, in the game first, but the living off the software impresses me. I'll be watching that with close interest! Doug |

Well the model came about when I realized that A.) Rules end up getting out there to the public anyway B.) Probably the best way to entice wargamers is to offer them free stuff, and C.) technology has reached sufficient market saturation and specifically online connectivity widespread enough that newer products can and should incorporate it into their models. Metaverse does not require you to have an internet connection to play the game while at the table just when designing your ships. What it does do however is allow you to store your designs remotely (hello cloud storage) print them from anywhere with an internet connection or download the pdfs for later printing. I just hope that this isn't too progressive for our sometimes stubborn hobby. |

Hey, you're talking to a true Luddite! My idea of high tech goes back to the days when I wired control panels for card interpreters with 'marksense'. Pencil mark input for punch cards! However, wish you all the best. Doug |
