Nice figure. Kali gives me the creeps since I read "Song of Kali), by Simmons.

Kali has six arms. She's an arachnid not an insect.

Anyone have any idea on the size of these figures and how they stack up against the well known historical miniature manufacturers as regards size and heft?
Thanks in advance…

Nice figure. I am fond of klutching together my own on such things, but she is tempting. Then again, she's supposed to be, no?

Two, four, six, eight?
Which one will we venerate?

@Chokidar – I think Kali's going to be a proper goddess-like height, but my experience with Harwood Hobby's range is that they are tall but slim, fitting in well with some of the taller Chronoscope figs. Vs. other ranges, I'd say they're best as character figs, they'll be a bit taller than 28s.

Cool figure! Actual statues of Kali show her topless though

Redroom30 Dec 2014 4:48 p.m. PST

Her breasts look a bit too off centered to me, but that could just be the pictures. Proportions and other details look great.

Happy you enjoyed it boys!. (smile)

I was wondering about the number of arms as well, but there seem to be plenty of depictions of her with two or four arms, (along with eight or more arms).

Statues of Kali vary. A lot. Many show the chest covered by various objects, if not actually clothing. They can show a variety of body types and horrid faces, often with inhumanly long tongue sticking out and impractically long fangs.

Many thanks Boy Wundyr – there are so many great figures in fantasy ranges that would lend themselves to use in historical collections but unfortunately most tower about their compatriots…
Thanks again and kind regards
C.
