I've got one of those in 15mm but I've never found a scenario to use it in. |

This is a great little model made by Eureka, and beautifully painted. Towards the bottom of the blog there's some nice new ideas for using this. The movie, two comrades were serving, there's a scene where two of the Bolsheviks are riding along in one of these shooting at the whites who were chasing them. |

I've got 5 of those in 15mm (Peter Pig models provide 4 of them) and get a lot of use out of them but then I play RussoPolish War. Both sides used them. |

At this scale, there is no problem with Tachanka appearing on the battlefield. This is from a replay of the Battle of Krasnik, WW1:
The road nearest the camera has a Russian cavalry division moving in column of squadrons. There is a Tachanka stand in the advance guard. It is the 4th stand back from the lead squadron, just right of centre. Robert |
