We played a great game of No Stars in Sight today, with human troops trying to knock out bug nests. The humans won narrowly, destroying 2 nests and 40+ bugs at the cost of 6 dead. Lots more pics and details about the game at my blog, link

Thanks for looking!

Nice terrain and figs.

Nice figures and terrain. However you missed your chance for a groovy camo pattern of blue, purple, and red!

Oh goodness, alien world camo would be wicked. It'd certainly break up the reputation for "grey and brown" that modern and scifi gaming gets :)

I need to dig around for more Oddzial Osmy guys in my stash---these ones are painted neutrally (I assume that troops are perpetually in the wrong camo for quick offworld deployment), but maybe for a special ops team or local defense troops. Camo to match this terrain would be cool.

If one can presume on such an imaginative subject, then I'd reckon on armour being produced in a neutral colour and then having a system of camo applied depending on a planet's eco system. I'll now have to go at test that on some GZG marines!

Or armour that adjusts its colouration fluidly based on the surroundings. Though that doesn't help our poor, static miniatures :-)

I wonder if anyone has done the exact same platoon (or whatever) multiple times, in different schemes?

REALLY COOL minis and battleground!
Thanks for sharing that, it looks like you guys had a blast!
