Great work. I never realised that Ney was balding, illustrations always seem to give the impression of a full thatch of red hair. |

Thanks guys! Regarding the balding… I alsways assumed it was a personal feeling the Perry Twins had towards him. Even if he was balding and was wearing a toupee (was it even invented back then) they could alwaŷs have depicted him with it in place. But I really like the mini no matter what and it was a great and fun set to paint! |

For what it's worth, I have a colleague from Lorraine who to the best of my knowledge is no relation to the Marshal, but his spitting image, exactly the same reddish blond type. And he is most definitely balding! So I would consider it quite plausible at least. |
