Is a 6 episode mini series about the Heavy water sabotage During WW2, filmed around Norway, inkludig Rjukan it self, Oslo, Germany, and the UK. A budget of 75 million NOK, or about 10 million dollars. My father in law was an extra in sevral scenes filmed in Rjukan, (he is born and raised there) YouTube link It deals alot with the germans and not just the Allies. Including alot about Werner Heisenberg It's will be on Norwegian tv January 6th, And dvd/bluray in march, not sure if there are any planes of steaming on Netflix or other sites. |

Saw the first two episodes yesterday, Most of the first 20 minutes was all about Heisenberg. The series have gotten some flak for creating a compisit character, that is female, that apearnatly fills the roles of seval characters including male ones. This is normal movie making thing, but she is kinda anoying, this super hard woman thougher then nails ect. It has also gotten some flak for over repersenting how realistic a german bomb war. while the allied belived they could make it, after the war it was clear they never could. But the series makes it look like it was a genuine threat. It's well made with high production values, much more then normal norwegian tv. |

Yes, Gunfreak, and it is far to be evident that Eisenberg, who was the only German able to make it, ever had the willingness to do it seriously. There was some kind a mutual gentlemen's agreement between the very few who knew about, before the war, including Einstein, Bhor, Fermi, Curie, Heisenberg and others for not developping a weapon. But WWII has changed the deal … However, the trailer looks appealing! |

It has finished its' 6 part run now. Quite good indeed. Naturaly feel more connection to it then a britt or american would. If any of you have watched Max Manus it has the same feel as that one. |
