I see that The Warstore once carried Foundry but it seems those days have past. Is there a retailer in the US that carries them? I swore I saw someone in the dealer hall at Fall In! that was carrying them. Lastly Is Casting Room Miniatures & Foundry one in the same? auction I'm a little confused by this. I came across them on Ebay and the figures look the same. Thank you in advance. |

Yes, the ebay figs are Foundry. I am not aware of anyone in the US that stocks Foundry anymore. |

Do you know why they are selling under Casting Room and not Foundry? |

The Warstore still has a few packs of Foundry figures, which you can see here: link They are doing a clearance sale; not a whole lot is left, but at $9.00 USD each, you could still achieve some significant savings. Yes, they have the remaining packs neatly divided into five groups you can click on, but things are not all in the subdivision you'd think they should be, so look around. I didn't really understand why Foundry decided to use the Casting Room front. Foundry is more or less a family company, founded by grandfather, run by father (I think), followed by a break with non-family folks running things, and recently the grandson took over and lowered the prices. I think the Casting Room figures are largely things that were designed while the non-family folks were in charge. The change occurred about the time grandson took over the show. BTW, not only did grandson lower the prices, but he improved customer service. Grelber |

A lot of the Casting Room offerings are minis from sculptors in training, or from older lines, and are presumably not considered " up to snuff" with Foundry's main line. Or so that's what I was told. There's also newer and perfectly acceptable packs that I assume are from incomplete ranges, or something. If they'd run their free shipping promotion again, I'd be all over some. |

Foundry seems unable or perhaps more accurately uninterested in maintaining a US Distributor. |

I've ordered directly from Foundry. Each time I've had a wonderful experience. Never an issue. As for seeing Foundry in the dealer hall, you're probably thinking of Steve from Age of Glory. He used to carry Foundry but no more. |
