The post was deliberately put up on Christmas morning to give a decent long read for the many folk who have free time on their hands today against a background of war-game post being generally quiet over Christmas / Boxing day. hopefully others may get something from the post.

Well done Norm. This gives me an excuse to take my Kindle to Christmas lunch at my youngest daughters as I can pass it off as essential club reading!

Merry Christmas

It's worth noting that you can fold in full ASL rules into the Starter Kit scenarios at your leisure, so even if you have no intention of ever progressing beyond the Starter Kits, you can get a LOT of gaming out of those.
