Does anyone know how many quad 20mm's the Gneisenau had added to her before Cerberus?

Scharnhorst had six, so you would think Gneisenau would have the same, so why can't I find a photo to prove this? Indeed looking at some images and artwork, I get the impression she may only have had one quad fitted on top of Bruno?

Any help very much appreciated.

The most accurate answer is "too few".

Oh I don't know about that Kle, the British got shot to bits attacking the German fleet on their run up the Channel. True the Luftwaffe did most of the damage, but I think the ships own AA give a reasonably good performance.

In "Axis Battleships" it states that after the British bombing raid on the ships in Brest (and so before the Channel Dash) extra 20mm guns were added- 13 on Scharnhorst and 14 on Gneisenau. Unfortunately it doesn't say how many were in quads. Hope this helps

Navypedia states some specific mounts single and quad in the modernisations section
