I have finished my All Quiet Scorpion and Shock Drones. I've got to admit they look very cool. The Scorpions are very deadly looking.
Here is a poor blighter caught in the corrosive chemical from the long stinger.
And this luckless fellow had the even worse misfortune of only being HALF caught. Ick!
The Shock Drones are not quite as sinister looking, but I'm betting they are still pretty effective.
So now I have two slavers, each with twelve drones.
Looking forward to trying them out! |

Wished they would send me the rest of my kickstarter stuff. Especially since it has been on sale for awhile. |

Doug – yeah, the waiting is a , but it's worth it – my Wave 2 parcel arrived at the weekend, and I was probably more excited than I will be tomorrow. A painfully slow road, but I'm well pleased with what's arrived…. |

No wave 2 email or parcel for me……no word on anything. My enthusiasm has majorly waned….. |

Very nice job Scott. I just received my wave two shipment and I hate to tell you its missing stuff again. No field batteries, no slaver, and my MK IV and Patton tank are missing all the pieces to finish the tank. I have sent an email and no reply my hope is they will respond after the holidays. Ive even offered to pay for shipping me the missing parts to the Mk IV's and Patton tank. PzGeneral, I got my package before my email and even thought the stuff looks very nice Im in the same boat as you my enthusiasm has waned I just opened the box looked at everything did my parts count then put it back in the box and away to the closet I will get to it someday as my son really likes the game but my excitement for the game is gone. |

I am anxious to get my Wave 2 stuff as well but I am still excited about the game. I can't imagine losing interest in something like this just because it's late. |

The scorpion drones are awesome and that is an awesome paint job. We recently played two games. The humans have to play it smart in order to win. For the first game we played the first scenario in the book and Martians won easily, but in the next game we played the second scenario in which the humans have fortifications. My partner and I played the human side a lot smarter that time and pulled off a smashing victory. It was very tense and suspenseful though. It was a really great game and it felt really good to have played it right and bring down a bunch of tripods! |

Still waiting for Wave 2 here. AD website explains they're off and not mailing any retail orders until Dec. 29, and good luck if you are expecting anything from an overseas supplier… As far as I can tell Wave 3 (good grief) includes Slave Drivers, Tesla Guns, Command Stands, Harvestors, Tender Tanks, and the Dominator Tripods. Their retail shop is quick, when they're actually working (holidays!!!). I got some BEF Armored cars, US mg's, and three Forlorn Hope units in about six days. I get the impression they need retail sale receipts to find the postage to get the KS Wave 2 stuff delivered. This is what you get when a thousand people throw down on a KS offer from a small company. |

The slaver tripod and command stands were in my wave 2 package, but yes the others are wave 3, together with a few other particularly large models – Goliath, British ironclad etc. Definitely agreed that shipping costs have been one of their bigger problems, but I'm certainly glad they're getting there. The sheer scale of the KS definitely ended up in the "too successful for their own (or the backers') good" category, but other than the rulebook (not the rules themselves, just the badly-needed-proofreading book) the finished product is really rather excellent…. |

I'm not questioning or denying the quality of the product, very kewl stuff and I'm glad I bought in. Also not upset that it's a year later and I've only received a third of my order. But I do suffer from "oh shiney". I've painted a buch and played a bunch. Ran the game at our local game event and had 4 fun and exciting games. But no new product means…..oh, look….Zulus……. |

A couple Martian players were concerned about the inability of their Lobototons to root US Infantry out of their bunkers. The infantry sortied from the enclosed bunker, whacked some Herky Jerks, then retreated back inside. The best the Lobototons could do was sit outside and keep the US infantry occupied while the Tripods romped against deeper defenses. The advent of the Scorpion Drones provides a nifty solution to the bunker problem. I personally did not think the bunkers were a problem. My suggestion was to bypass the hard points…put a scout tripod to watch the Tripod rear. Problem solved. The Scorpion Drones now give my Martian players another tool to eradicate every organic issue before them and build their overconfidence even more. I cannot wait until the Martian guys see their Slaver targeted by every available gun, and the fleet of Drones go stupid. |

One thing that may make a difference is that Ernie has said that bunkers and trenches do not give any sort of defensive or armor bonuses against assault. Infantry is very hard to root out with fire, but against assault it's like they are in open ground. |

That's good to know, since I don't think it is stated in the rule book… |

My son gave me Shock and Scorpions for Christmas. Wow, was that ever a surprise. I had no idea that he even knew I was doing AQMF. He said that I shouldn't post so much on Facebook. Anyhow, you did a great job on those! I hope mine come out half as good. I agree with other posters on the bases. Awesome job. |

Scott…do not know when you got that defensive bonus for field works does not apply to assaults |

lasalle, we were running a game at the Fall-in convention (early November 2014). Ernie Baker wandered by to take a look and we asked him. :) |

Thats good to know Scott, makes a big difference in game play, especially for the scenario that I plan to run at Little Wars in April |
