I've been looking around on the net at all the 1/1200 ACW lines and came across photos of some made by Superior Models. They looked like nice castings, so I tried to find more information on them. This led me to ALNAVCO, who purchased the Superior Models line. I e-mailed an inquiry to them and was informed that they made a run of them early last year, but had no plans to make any in 2015. However, they did say they would move them up in the rotation if they received more inquiries like mine. So, if anyone else is looking for another ACW option in 1/1200, drop ALNAVCO a line. |

Can you post a link to any phots of them? Most of my 1/1200 models are Langtons or Navwar, it would be good to see what other options there might be. |

There are two set of the models on the Alnavco site. Are they not available? I hate the way Alnavco does things. Their catalog always lists lots of things which are out of stock with nothing to show this until you order and get a message that they are not available. |

Here is a link to the photo I saw that piqued my interest:
Allen57, Initially, I did not see the sets on their website, but I looked again and did find them under the WWII section. According to the response I received, they are not currently available. |

Yikes, I think that I would go with Langton. What are those wedges on Virginia's fore and aft decks? And Monitor's guns are way too far apart. |

Actually I like the Thoroughbred 1/600 line better. These not so much. |

True, they are not in the same league as Langton or Thoroughbred. As far as the wedge decks for and aft, I guess they based it on this.
