(edit: sorry for the typo in the title, can't edit it unfortunately) I am currently slowly (very slowly) building terrain for 15mm post-apocalyptic/sci-fi gaming. The thing is that right now the terrain pieces are very difficult to transport, and they are occupying a small cupboard at my apartment. Please recommend me a way to pack terrain into a carry-able form so I can transport it with ease. |

Those trays that bread is delivered to stores on. If you get lucky you can grab a few of those. I have 5 for my terrain. Plus side they are stackable |

I use plastic boxes, the large roll away ones that go under beds. Get some foam and you've got a terrain safe solution. |

@ LordNth – I'm not sure they use the same kind of trays here in Israel. @ McWing73 – I'd love to see a picture of these boxes and/or a link to ordering them… |

My first project is a ruined city terrain, which, with the right mat (or tablecloth) and, if necessary, a few cheap plastic trees, could represent anything from Stalingrad to Pripyat to ruined cities on the worlds of the future… After that I have a "dust world" terrain to work on with a printed mat I have for years. |

Hi Golan I use Really Useful Boxes :) I use clean old sheets and foam to wrap and protect the scenery :) link Not 100% sure you will be able to get them in Isreal though. I also use the stackable green veg / bakery trays shame they are not used where you are. Cheers Matt |

Boxes for copy paper reams, etc. are usable, and probably a bit less expensive. You can add in cardboard corners, and a removeable shelf, internally, if needed, for odd-shaped/sized buildings, to keep them separated, if you don't want to just pile them all upon one another. |

I use stackable totes – the ones with the matching lids. I wrap the pieces in bubble wrap, got a roll from Staples cheap. Not sure the equivalent in Israel, but I'd bet it's available. I've learned the hard way – I never start a project now without considering transport ahead of time. |
