Hi guys, this mini project is finished, the figures look better in person, the colours are washed out due to the flash, more pics on my blog, all comments welcome.

Well done! In my experience it's a rare thing to actually finish a hobby project, so it's something worth celebrating!

Great painting for certain! Excellent!

I really don't want to be critical but I'm not so sure that so many nobles would have had gilt armours during the Cousins War. They were expensive enough as it was, sort of like owning a top of the range Ferari is now!

Also, the liveries are very light in colour but as you say that's probably the flash on the camera.

I do hope you don't think i'm being picky- if anything I'm being my usual anal self! LOL :>)

And there is no real evidence for the use of horse armour in the period. Also the skirted armours look more Tudor than WOTR.

I wasn't going to mention that as I didn't want to be impolite.

Hi guys, the figs aren't really meant for WOTR, they are European Knights from Eureka, the customer supplied the figures and wanted them painted for his WOTR army, I painted them as some rich mercenaries, obviously not historically accurate, but you wont lose them on the table, thats for sure.

trailape30 Apr 2015 5:21 p.m. PST

GD is correct.
As the customer I got what I was after.
