Review of Battle for the Falklands: The Winter War by Bishop and Witherow. It's an ebook review of their 1982 manuscript. Enjoyed reading it though I know little about the Falklands War. But I'd like to learn some more about the Argentines who fought there. Alas, I don't know Spanish!

Regards,
Blake

Martin Middlebrooks' book "Fight for the "Malvinas" on the Falklands from the Argentinean viewpoint is excellent and (from what I've heard from friends and colleagues in South America) well balanced. It proved to be an invaluable resource when I was running a number of Falklands games a few years ago

Can't recall the name but there was a movie from the view of an Argentine conscript.

I agree with DM, Middlebrook's book appears to be a very balanced text. I've read most of the books I could find in english and spanish and that one tries to find the common ground and split the difference when he can't find the common ground.

Overall I think it is a pretty good book and a great recommendation by DM!
