Very cool. It looked lovely for something so small. I assume the Australians deployed their entire stock of RBS70s and M1s for this battle! :P
The campaign rules are amazing. Though I'd give the J-20 longer range – this thing is meant to be a super long range interceptor.
If range is speed then F-35 would be outclassed by not just F-15 but MiG-29 and J-20. Also Australia has roughly 1 squadron of F/A-18Fs (24 aircraft spread across two actual squadrons) still in service in 2025. A 4th F-35 squadron is still planned (ie 28 aircraft on top of 72 currently on order in 2015). |
