Weird title. Thureophoroi are bearers of the Thureos and Peltasts are bearers of the Pelte. I do see both in the mix. Would a better title not be Thureophoroi AND Peltasts? It's TMP. Somebody has to split hairs! evil grin

That said, they do look the part(s)!

Plastic or metal?

They do look good. Metal, and presumably Steve Saleh's work.

I'm glad to see that they're getting back to their Ancients line (as opposed to Biblical)at least a little bit.

Joker,
I think that there are only theuroi on the models. Another angle shown of the figs on Warlord's page shows them more clearly.

And there is a command set with them.

Nicely done, well animated and as noted, a useful command set. Now will they do a unit (say 24) deal? Warlord has quite a handy range of Greeks, Macedonians and LBMS transfers – the separate, plastic, phalangite sprue will fill the odd gap.

Glad you enjoyed them boys.

Looks like more good figures to mix in with Old Glory, Aventine, Gripping Beast, Newline, and other fine ranges of thureophoroi….some also by Mr. Saleh.

I like the poses that are not pointing their spears at the ground squirrels… those poses look like they could be switched into Thracian rhompaia men.

I also like the embedded extra javelins in the shields- similar to the old Essex shields.

The command figures look nice… but why not four figures in the command sets, so both sets add up to an even dozen.

Sadly I have far too many Thureos troops in the queue… so I cannot just buy them… ok maybe the command set, just for review :)
