Would I be right in thinking that Wargames Foundry tend to have their annual sale at this time of year? From memory they tend to do 10%-20% discounts. Does anyone know if these 10%-20% discounts are on top of their usual discounts? (i.e. buy 8 packs get 2 free / buy 16 packs get 6 free) I'm sure I have subsscribed to Foundry newsletter but have n't seen anything yet. It may be simply that I am early and that offer won't start until between Christmas and New Year. I am wanting to buy some of their Napoleonic paint sets and a few individual blisters. That should total £80.00 GBP so would get free shipping. Trying to decide whether should bite the bullet and order now or wait as patiently as possible for us gamers to see if festive discount sale imminent. Thanks James |

They haven't done one for a couple of years as far as I can recall – similarly a quick TMP search doesn't find any mention of one since 2011. It might be worth hanging fire just in case, but I wouldn't bank on it. |

Thanks Dom. I knew I had seen e-mails from them previously but could nt remember how far back. |

They pretty much stated that they do not have them anymore. Their claim is that the army deals suffice. It's too bad as it usually was enough to get me to spend more money than I wanted to ;-) |

That's the thing. I can either get the older Perry sculpts from Foundry for £12.00 GBP a pack or the newer Perry sculpts (which are often nicer) for £8.00 GBP a pack. For Naploeonic French that price differential means that there is only a few Foundry blisters that I can probably afford. |

I'm the same. I could always find things to buy at 20% off, but not at regular prices. Army deals don't interest me so the end result is that I don't spend any money with Foundry anymore. |

They do have buy 3 identical packs, get one of the same packs free. That can work for some. |

"Does anyone know if these 10%-20% discounts are on top of their usual discounts? (i.e. buy 8 packs get 2 free / buy 16 packs get 6 free)" It does state on their website: "Regrettably, you can't combine offers, etc, etc, etc." |

As well as the hilarious difference in price let's also not forget what you get for your money Foundry £12.00 GBP for 6 figs (check out the faces) auction or Perry £7.00 GBP for 6 figs (check out the faces) link each to their own I suppose |

It always depends on the range though – some are better than others, and some have better competition than others…. |

(Foundry's Biblical ranges in particular are still right up there with the best, and with most in 8-figure packs, not 6s, are much nearer to competing on price, as well as quality….) |
