A few people asked about how I made my shanty buildings, so I posted a quick how to and set of tips and materials. Here are some pics and a basic guide on how I added detail to my original plain adobe buildings to get a more grimdark scifi style dwelling.

The latest build was of a much larger fort style structure. Hope you enjoy the project and find this useful.

Howdy!

To answer your questions Terrement.

1. Yep, as you saw, to hold up the floors. It does also strengthen the structure a little as well, so a bonus.

2. I hadn't though about it. The whole floor is going to be sheet metal, so I was just making it look slapped together haphazardly with sheets of junk metal.

3. Yep, foam board.
