As the title says, looking for figures to represent early war U.S. at the time of the Philippines invasion. Also looking for figures to use for Philippines Army and later war guerrillas. Preferably in 28mm. Been out of the historical scene for too long don't know all the manufacturers. |

Bob Murch's Pulp figures includes some US troops in the Brodie helmet: link and link If you are willing to do some conversion, you can add Brigade Games' Caribbean Empires figures: link You would probably want to put helmet heads on these; Woodbine does really nice heads: link Blaze Away also does US Marines in montana hat: link These are very nice figures but a little slender; the rifles bend easily. |

Eureka is the best bet for the Philippines. They have the Marines who can double duty for US Army and some Filipino troops, US cavalry both mounted and dismounted, and Filipino Army soldiers in denim fatigue uniforms. You even can get sailors for the provisional battalion and for the Corregadore defenses. It's just missing M1919 LMGs and M1917 37mm infantry guns. 28mm has even less. A lot less. But those pulp figures are very nice |
