So playing the computer game Napoleon total war with a mod.

I play as Prussia(that has landwehr in 1805)

My first battle I killed Bernadotte, A few months later I killed, Soults, Lannes and Ney.

And in April 1806 I killed Napoleon him self, ridden down by my hussars.

Some how the game is not over. What should the game be called now, Davout Total war? Joseph Total war?

Hilarious! So shouldn't you re-name it after one of your generals?

That is actually quite a provocative ideas to think about. What would have happened if Napoleon had been killed in a battle? I hardly think Joseph could have held power, so I assume a coup or a formation of a Junta of sorts? Certainly the Marshals would not have been able go agree on ANYTHING amongst themselves. Who would have come out on top? What coaltitions of them would have formed. Would civilian leadership have come forward?

I'm guessing the royalists would have taken advantage of it. Civil war is almost a sure thing, probleby with more then 2 factions.

Given the large amount of personalities you managed to kill off, maybe "Assassins Creed: The Napoleonic Wars" would be a better title. grin

Funnily enough, a number of years ago we were playing "Empires in Arms", the 1806 campaign (and translating the board encounters into figure battles using "Napoleon's Battles". I was Prussia. Did loads of damage and almost captured Boney….LOL

If Davout was in charge watch out!

They didn't call him "The Beast" for nothing

Davout obviously was one of the best generals of his age. But he was just that, an army officer. he was not a politician, not a leader of a Nation.

Since it is early, perhaps Louis or Lucien Bonaparte would attempt to take their brother's place?
