Early campaigns? 1908?

South Algeria is desert. for sharian meharists companies not these.

mounted infantry? kidding
started 1831 from elements of chasseurs a cheval+ 4rgt from 1841 true cavalry. able to fight dismounted.
was the best cav unit in the 1870 war, glorious charges, dismounted work, recon (the only ones to do all three right). continuous valour throughout the ages.

Officer's jacket a bit different from mens, depending upon period… here all jackets are wrong. need red sash… just google images you'll get many.

If they have the white cover on shako, then would also wear havelock behind. makes sense too.

the minis here are more early/ mid 19th century (Balaklava)than early 20th.

Very nice. Any idea what they would have looked like by 1939? Also, were there still any mounted units by then?
