Title says it all, really, I'm looking for some 1/64 scale racing drivers in their gear, but outside of the car standing around, helmet off taking questions, and things like that. They also don't have to be from a wargaming miniatures company, so if anyone knows of anything of this type, please sing out. Thanks in advance, BWW |

25mm, I think. Denizen Miniatures, if I recall correctly, sell a range of cars and drivers. Not 100% sure on the scale, but the only range I can think of that does. |

they are 1/43, I think too large for 28mm |

Mattel (Hot Wheels) made a 1/64 packet of Pit crew (25 pieces) with figures in helmets but don't know if it is still available. Not sure about actual drivers though unfortunately…. |

I was considering this recently. My idea so far is to have Crooked Dice's boiler suited technicians or Ainsty Casting's technicians or Valley Forge Crew (they have plenty of badges on them that would look like sponsor logos) and use Crooked Dice's astronaut helmets (they look like racing crash helmets) for a head swap. link link link link |

Mako, I did see the ones from Denizen, but argsilverson is right in that they are 1/43rd scale. Jeff, I did see those, but for some reason they didn't quite take my fancy. Also, pit crews in all race car types have gone to full-face helmets and fire-proof uniforms. So those are nice, but more appropriate to the 1980s-90s. ubercommando, Now you're talking! Thanks, and I think your idea is going to have some merit. After poking around the Ainsty site, there are definitely some figures on there that could be made to work. BWW |

Think these might be 1/43, but worth a look. link |

Norrins, I looked around their website, and they are indeed 1/43. Not surprising really, as that is a common scale for diecast Grand Prix cars. In 28mm, I would definitely pick up several and in 15mm even more. BWW |
