Hello all,
I would like to announce the official launch of Red Over Blue: Miniature Wargame Creations and Inspiration for the Everyman.
redoverblue.net
This isn't your average stuffy gaming blog. I focus on high-end tabletop quality wargames miniatures from a variety of periods and genres, hoping to impart some of my knowledge and experience. This can range from 28mm WW2 (Bolt Action?), 28mm Boer War, to 28mm WW1, and darn near anything else that strikes my fancy.
I have started the blog off with no less than 5 detailed posts, including 3 photo showcases, 1 terrain making guide, and 1 "Blast From The Past" article reminiscing on a project long gone.
The intended audience for Red Over Blue is your everyday wargamer. Some blogs and websites can be intimidating, with pictures of near lifelike paint jobs and modelling. I wish to break down these barriers and show the "everyman" wargamers of the world that good looking tabletop quality miniatures are not only easy to produce, but enjoyable to paint too!
I also periodically sell miniatures via eBay, facilitating this through my blog. To kickstart the launch of this blog, I have posted a complete painted set of Games Workshop's Escape From Goblin Town boxed set from their Hobbit range of miniatures. All items have been painted to an EXPERT LEVEL. The link to the auctions is here:
