i don't think they funded trails, they weren't very green-thinking fellows….. even if they did it wouldn't have bothered the british or the soviets very much. those peoples have nothing against trails. ok i'll stop now |

Hi Mark , ..I recently read "The Sleeping Buddha" by Hamida Ghafour who is an Afghan expatriate now living in the UK. It's a first person account of this lady returning to Afghanistan to rediscover her families' roots.. there's a lot of incidental history of the last three or four generations of Afghans. I'd suggest well worth the effort . Is an easy read. |
