Where can I find a good collection of scenarios for the Western Desert Campaign 1940-42? Looking for something that is suitable for a battalion or more per side, 1 stand = 1 platoon. |

I based this scenario on the notes in BH. It covers the early desert war up to and including Operation Crusader Dec 41 but not the following years actions. A great book. link |

Another thumbs up for "Benghazi Handicap." "Blaze Across the Sands" was very disappointing: generic OBs on generic terrain. Battlefront do some desert scenarios which are easily adapted to any set of rules: link Bob MacKenzie has a few desert scenarios designed for CD: link Cheers, Bertie |

yes cd natürlich Beng H. in the old rules there was also a mini campaign of battleaxe. very good. I recommend the Battleaxe mini campaign, too. There was another scenario in one of the early Command Decision rule books (or maybe a Command post?) for Wadi Saunnu, a battle that takes place as the British armour is attempting to protect its logistical units during withdrawal from El Agheila to Tobruk in January [?] 1942 during the Panzerarmee riposte. Sadly, it does not appear that the sequel to Benghazi Handicap will ever appear, to cover the later part of the NA campaign. |
