Look at the French Indian range for Blue Moon at Old Glory UK. These are very nice. |

Beautiful is in the eye of the beholder, or it is only skin deep, so I don't know how that translates into metal… However, with that in mind I would second the Blue Moon recommendation. Now, where to find ugly Indians… |

I think Minifigs Indians are rather pretty (in fact I use one of their Plains Indians as a female character in a fantasy RPG). Unfortunately they don't make any in their American Revolution range but you might find something useful in the Montcalm & Wolfe (French and Indian Wars) range: link

Khurasan has some very nice Iroquois also: link |

The Khurasan stuff is very nice but they are pre-gunpowder Indians. Not the period asked for in the OP. |

Hi everyone, sorry for my slow response, TMP blocks new users for 3 days, I'm sure you know that. Thank you very much for all your answers. I took a look at your links, and I very like the bluemoons! (super job Jeff, very impressive!) The minifigs looks great too… My small collection of AWI figures consists of Essex and Peter Pig, which go together pretty well I think. I'm affraid that the Blue Moon will be too tall, aren't they ? Sorry again for the murder of your language :) Léo |

Well if your happy with PP figures mixing with Essex then mixing in BM figures shouldnt be a problem as Essex are large and chunky and PP are a lot smaller in my opinion. BM are taller than both but not as chunky as Essex. Im away from home at the moment but I could put some BM next to PP for comparison if you like, the trouble is i will forget so can you pm me to remind me and ill put the photos up this coming Sunday or Monday. |

I mixed Blue Moon with QRF and suprisingly it looked fine. |

Oh, I didn't really see big differences between Essex and PP, in the AWI range I mean. If you have a link, or a pic, of a mix Essex/PeterPig/BlueMoon it will be awesome, thanks a lot ! What size reputation have the QRF ? |

Don't have photos but it breaks down about like this: Irregular and Blue Moon are quite large figures comparatively though Blue Moon are great figures. Essex are maybe a tad bigger than others but mix well. Peter Pig, Yellow Ribbon (QRF), Hovels, and Minifigs all mix together very nicely. I have lots of all of the above ranges so speak from experience. Many of the mentioned ranges are Old West versus French and Indian War, though. Oh, also Warrior are a nice mix. And keep in mind you can mix units from different suppliers on the table fairly easily as long as you keep the size match reasonable within the unit. At least I do. For me it is about the game much more than do the figures all align to some external need for perfectly matched figures. |
