hi, i have armies for this period/war. but have struggled to find an adequate rule set, any suggestions greatly appreciated, can you please explain why you would recommend the rule set as a list of sets might not be all that helpful. thanks jon |

Who do you play against? Who are your opponents? What do you want from the rules? Simplicity? Compatibility with other players? |

I have Imperialists as the opponents. Had been looking at FoG or Hail Ceasar but the period seems to fall between there split between medieval and renaissance books jon |

I've played against them in Warhammer Ancients Battles several times. The way Hussites worked in WAB seemed historically correct. |

I have had many good battles using DBA. For the smaller game you need four Wagons or five with a general. I have 25 as I have done many giant battles versus imperials and others. These rules seem to capture for me at least the generic issues involving war wagons in battles. |

As I have a Hussite army myself, I spent a good deal of effort making sure my rules (Piquet: Band of Brothers, 2nd edition) would work for their war wagons and associated tactics. Battle report of a Hussite battle from Historicon 2011: link
