Funnily enough I have just started a similar project using a number of £3.00 GBP cheap toy train sets from 'The Works'.

Bob,

Me too! :)

My poor embarrassed wife received some very funny looks when she said "No, it's for my husband…"

The Blues Bears stalled RCW participation game "The Cinema Train Robbery." used several Thomas the Tank Engine toys. The Lady in the toy shop couldn't understand two large hairy men measuring toys and arguing about which to buy. When she asked what the problem was I pointed out that it was all right for my mate to want to buy the smaller, cheaper, ones, he didn't have to paint Russian Slogans down the side of them. Her look was worth all the hassle.

My cheap toy train sets from "The Works" look like this:

Not bad for £3.00 GBP … and it seems to work well with 15mm-scale figures and – with a bit of work – with 20mm-scale figures.

Happy you enjoyed it my friends!. (smile)
