I bought a 15mm Teuntonic army last year and these Horse Archers came with it. I'd love to buy more of them but I don't know who makes them. They look like Tartars to me but I may be wrong. You can see a picture of them here link Can anyone identify them for me? Thanks. |

While I can't find a photo, I believe they are Essex and probably "RNN4 Tartar: Horse Archers Firing to Side", but there is no photo available. |

They look like 15mm Minifig Sakae Cavalrymen, Horse Archers..but not sure. |

I sent a copy of the picture to Essex. They said it wasn't one of theirs. |

I'm not convinced they are Tartars. I can't get a match on their distinctive headgear with your figures. I'll keep looking! |

Thanks. I appreciate the effort. They are a nice looking figure and I'd really like to get more of them. |

The style definately reminds me of Minifigs. |

Unfortunately, Minifigs only posts a few pictures of their figures. |

Looks like Minifigs 204XC Hungarian from the Hussite Wars range – link and
The pointy hat is a Cuman style primarily – look at some of Druzhina's Hungarian pictures. |

I believe we have a winner! My thanks to all. I knew the "hive mind" would come through. |

I thought the horses looked like Essex. |

Essex horses tend to have very narrow bases. It's the only thing I dislike about Essex figures. It makes them very hard to glue on to bases. |
