I'm surprised, no talk about the book? I just got my copy in the mail on Saturday. My only complaint was not enough scenarios from 1862 and none from Chancellorville.

ADF as a whole doesn't seem to have caused many ripples, at least here.

I have tried and like ADF. It seemed a good step between Brigade and Regimental level games. Plenty of player interaction (not just sitting there waiting for your turn).

I loved John reb having played all of the editions going back to the original version. ADF I am looking forward to trying these. I love John Hills rules and ADF does away with order counters and uses the Squad Leader move counter move system of action and reaction. The books are very well presented.
