In the UK please. I need something easily available in large sheets to make terrain from. I want to recreate some real world terrain so it needs to be workable with hand tools/dremmel to get the contours right . It needs to have rigidity so that I can lift the terrain off the baseboard.

Have you looked at Foam Board/Core ("Featherboard?")

Just the right thickness, stiff, can be cut in any shape, and is light as… a feather!

TVAG any info on suppliers sheet size and prices. I know Hobbycraft stock it but they get pretty expensive for the amount I'm going to need .

Best ways to get lots of foamboard for absolutely nothing is to speak to the manager(s) of the local big stores.

When they take down the Festive Season advertising they will be dumping most of it round the back of the store.

They might let you help yourself.
