Victrix does an early French Infantry in Bicorn 1804. I think they may work, don't think they look rag-tag though.

Victrix are the closest, they are for the 1804-1807 period.

Aperantly the revolutionary coats had EVEN longer tails,

They became a little shorter in early empire, then even shorter after 1807, and finnaly shortest in the bardin style.

But I highly doubt anybody will notice the half of a half mm, it would translate in 28mm.

Also you could buy a victrix box, and buy some eureka(or was it brigade games) ragged revolutionary figures.

The victrix fit these, so simply put 1-4 ragged metals in the plastic unit.

Gunfreak is correct. Eureka do some excellent ragged revolutionary French. But they are, of course, in lead.

Eagle Figures also offers Revolutionary French and Prussians. They are metal figures though.
