I´ve decided to use Inkend Advertures tiles for the dungeon and Rab´s Geekly Digest rules (Knight´s Quest: link ).

He likes it a lot and is very excited to play more games :-)

I got a couple games of Dust in with my 5 year old this weekend. He was rather impressed by playing with cool toys and terrain, and the Damage Resilient rolls to shake off damage were a big hit as well.

It is important to raise future opponents! :)

Started wargaming with Ogre with my 4yo. We also did a little bit of Car Wars. Thanks SJ for the ziplock versions!

Nice!

Knight Quest/Goblin Quest is a pretty fun set of rules for anyone looking for a light-dungeon crawl. I'd recommend it!

Good job!

Too few games have a "spindown" wound system, where a fighter gets weaker as he takes damage.

For multiple combats, instead of adding totals, how about each player simultaneously rolls their die, then damage is resolved from highest to lowest die roll? This gives the players some choices, and adds some tactics. It'll let powerful characters fend off a hoard of minions -- only to fall with an unlucky die roll!

Thanks ktravlos, Logain and ced1106, I'm glad you like the look of my Knight's Quest – Hetairoi has done a great job of showing them off to good effect.

I'm not quite sure I follow what you mean, ced1106, but I'm intrigued. Could you give an example? Feel free to email me if you'd prefer – stephenmichaeldobson AT gmail DOT com
