Interesting. I like it. But Cephallonians at least in the 19th century wore straw hats rather than fezzes (the fez being an Ottoman thing and the Ionians mostly being ruled by Venice and the UK).Ι can vouch for that, since my patrimonial descent is from Cephallonia.
