These world generation rules are absolutely fantastic!

I set aside some time tonight to play a wee bit of 5 Parsec and use the world generation rules and got entirely sidetracked by those. I love the way a narrative and theme jumps out just from associating the different factors. Tonight, for example, I've come up with:

- Malnook, A moderate pleasant garden world with universe renowned volcanic heated spas. Run by the 'Recuperative and Restorative Association of the Modal Worlds' as small clinic-settlements for the rich and powerful of the galaxy to come to and relax and recuperate. The problems are the indigenous population – humanoid forest dwellers, unhappy they can no longer use their sacred water pool, so carry out raids on the clinics.

Easy peasy.

If you haven't already, I'd really suggest checking it out – the world building could be used in pretty much any game.

Well, I am sorry for getting you sidetracked from the game but I am glad you had a good time :)

I like to think of the world generation as a "more story based Traveller".

Yip even a potato like me gets a great scenario thread using them.
Cheers, good one Weasel.
