With some interesting modern Africa figures it seems like I need Cubans since they acted as Soviet proxies during interventions all over the place. Does anyone make Cubans or figures that would work for them? |

Mongrel Miniatures made Syrians in "Ridgeway" caps in 28mm back when I gamed in 28mm. They made really good Cuban troops. 60s- 70s Russians can pass for Cubans. Right now I use Khurasan Miniatures 15mm 70's Russians with no problem at all since I changed to that scale. These troops are good for Russians, Cubans, African govt. troops etc. They are super figures and I can't recomment them strongly enough. Khursan also has the vehicles to go along with them which are also super. |

Mongrel used to be one of my favourites and then the owner just screwed the whole thing up and you can't buy them anymore, so I've switched to 20mm tons to choose from. |

Eureka has some portugese and you could fudge it a bit with their Zanla line depending on how you paint them. |
