I am lucky to have a loft available for a hobby. Here I built a game table for my miniatures, its size is 4x2 m.

Here the link to see the construction of the table.

That's a nice table. I was wondering though, why you didn't go with a smooth top and went with the slat wood instead?

I'll bet it has something to do with getting material up to the loft.

It is probably due to transporting the material from store to game room.

Nice game room.

Very nice table….

It's actually a great design if using terrain boards or a nice thick rolled mat. the entire table will still be light enough to move around the room.

He's right 45thdiv, for transportation. I thought it would be flat. Instead the axes create reliefs. In fact now thought to cover with plywood.

4m by 2m? How do you reach the middle? Do you have very long arms?

I use a stool. Also, I have the good fortune to be high cn 183.

To get it smooth, you could buy a roll of vinyl flooring. If you get it in a nice bluish colour you have an instant sea scape for the same price.

Marco, you are lucky to have a nice loft. If you have access to foam board, that is a light, inexpensive material that can be easily cut to fit your board to make it smooth.

Thanks for idea . This morning I looked at the prices of PVC materials that are cheap and I could get a single piece for the entire table.
