Can anyone tell me if the stats for the AH navy in WW1 are in the original rulebooks ?

If not wher can I find them ?

Thanks

Yes, the A-H stats are included in the original Fleet Action Imminent rulebook.

If you're missing parts of the original rules, register on the ODGW web site (odgw.com), and you can download everything you need in PDF form, then print out anything you're missing. This is also the only way I know of to get the "FAI WWI Supplement" which adds stats for the USN, IJN and French Marine National. There was also an amendment you should get (called "Amendment 2" for some reason) which updated several pages of rules.

Why do I want FAI stuff ? I am using the original GQ rulebooks.

In that case, the only things in GQ2 are Britain and Germany. You may be able to get some stats from the Yahoo group, but I donīt know for sure. I will have a look and see.

Take a look at this site, it may be of interest, link

Heh. That's my site. :-)

I generated all those SDS PDFs from a spreadsheet which has been greatly expanded from the list in the GQ2 rulebook. If you want me to send you a copy, just PM me your email address (or email me using the email info on my GQ site).

On the Yahoo group I found a spreadsheet with the major navies that was created in 2001, is that yours as well?

Regardless, the PDFs are quite nicely done!

The spreadsheet on the Yahoo group is the one I started with, back in 2001. Somebody else made it, but I've added to it since then.

As an aside: I have an even-more-updated QRC that includes all my house rules and modifications which I'll give away free on request (but can't publish without violating copyright). It's a 4 page PDF in color; the first page is the QRC, the last page is diagrams, and the middle two pages are house rules.

That is really interesting. I like GQ3 but GQ2 is still my big battle go to.

Suggest you download the GQ Helper software from this website and use that. Loads of SDS data for hundreds of WW1 and WW2 classes, including AH :)

Just to clarify, data for Austro-Hungarian ships (a limited number) are included in GQ2 (see page 52). Also the French, Italians, Russians, US, and Japanese along with the British and Germans.

Yellow Admiral can you send me a copy of your updated QRC
Thanks

Texas Jack16 Dec 2014 1:17 p.m. PST

@ coastal2-
Thanks for the clarification, I totally missed that!

Guthroth16 Dec 2014 1:25 p.m. PST

I went looking in my pile of rules, and found I also have a copy of Perfidious Albion and the associated volume of ship sheets. I shall probably give those a try as well :-)

QRC sent to Guthroth. Sorry I'm late, I missed the activity in this thread the last few days.

Bigbadvlad, I need an email address. If you don't feel good about posting it on a Google-searchable web page ( I don't ) , you can PM it to me, or email me at the email address at the bottom of armory.com/~fathom/gq/]every page here.
