I'm looking to start gaming the Plains Wars and was interested in your opinion on existing ranges and peoples opinions on the best figures out there.

I like both Artizan and foundry equally as they fit style and size wise with each other.

I like the look of Artizan and Foundry, for sure…. for my money, I like Old Glory 25mm to save a little (though, based on your location, that may not be true)… Conquest has some very nice Comanche.

Foundry makes great Plains Indians.

Remember, Plains Indians were not built like Tarzan?

Old Glory has everything you need including the "Last Stand" set.
Mix them with Foundry, Dixon, and Artizan…..variety is the spice of life :)

I went with Foundry. Nice figures.

Foundry has the advantage of having matching figures for mounted and dismounted versions for skirmish gaming. But if that's not an issue Old Glory's line is quite good at an excellent price!

Many thanks for you advice. Really like the Galloping Major figures, but the range seems to be added to on a sporadic basis. The quality is excellent and I have many of their FIW range, but am reluctant to commit based on this.
