That's interesting! Could you provide more details?

The Zemburakis which translates into stingers were an Afghan invention. The Persians, impressed by their skirmish ability, integrated them into their armis as early as 174x. These were used during the RussoPersian war as well as in the countless border-conflicts with Afghanistan, Turkey and the many nomadic tribes surrounding Persia.

Is this their 1/72 or 28mm line? If 28mm are there planning to also do Persian infantry and cavalry?
Thanks.

Kawe,
Thank you! I'm also interested if there will be infantry and cavalry to follow.

Darn, I missed being the first one to make them! grin Working on them now but in 18mm….

Hah! Good luck with this. It really works for a period of 120 years as Persians and Afghans.

Re Persian army. They had proper line infantry, irregulars and much cavalry.
There was even French and later British guns and advisors.

I might host a little crowd funding campaign to find out if there's enough interest for that in 28mm. I mostly had this guy done because I knew him from a teapot that I inherited from my dad.

Me too, mine are not that far down the track. Doing the research has been more fun than sculpting so far. If others produce a comprehensive range there's no point me duplicating.

I'll post my notes someplace when they are done.

As Frederick has suggested, my thoughts go out to the camel, when the gunner does light the blue touch paper. A bunch of these outside La Haye Sainte earlier could have turned the whole day. The 2nd Light KGL would have died laughing, to a man.

Promise me this is not an April Fool thing………..I'll bet there is some German tradition, that you play a prank just before Christmas and we are falling for it!

If so, it is brilliant!
