I like metal bases and have been searching for something other than thin washers or expensive cast-metal bases. I think I may have just found a solution… link

Appears to me the one on the left doesn't need another base, but clearly the one on the right does. Good solution. Thanks for sharing. |

I haven't tried, but I doubt they would. It's probably some cheap zinc-based metal. |

Here's another option. These are stainless steel and less than 1mm thick, and you can get bucket loads for a song (500 discs for $6 USD is hard to beat!): link
