After a recent inquiry, I decided to do some workups on 3mm-scale military cargo vehicles to use as objectives or maguffins. Here are a couple sample shots:
As usual, more info here on my blog-o'-war: link Feedback or suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks, jav98 |

I'll take them :). Was going to use the Samil trucks I just ordered for this purpose. |

They look great! And of course, my usual suggestion applies :) |

Very nice. My favourite is the Body style 1 in the wheeled configuration as I would use it for my modern forces (my EPF project). A Recovery Vehicle as suggested on your blog would be great. I would welcome if these vehicles would be on the bigger side of 3mm as I like trucks being big. Cheers, Benjamin |

- The wheeled and hovercraft vehicles look good. - You might want to consider offering some of those trucks in 'robotic versions.' i.e. A rather 'conventional' laid out truck without a cabin? This is actually something that is being worked on now. Might not work well in this scale. - For all of the trucks, maybe have a standard flatbed (either a scale 20' or 40' would make sense) on which you can transport a variety of cargos: CONEX boxes, personnel modules (making buses or troop transports), liguid (fuel, water…) containers. cranes… Additionally you could make a range of military cargos transforming your civilian trucks into missile batteries, RADARs, laser Air Defense Artillery… - I'd think that a "grav" truck would look more like a helicopter and less like a 'truck.' I'd suggest the old CH-54 flying crane with ability to settle on top of and pick up a 'container as a very good model. |
